Human Resource Certification is the symbol of professional achievement. Beyond experience and education, the PHR and SPHR designation signifies that you have mastered the HR body of knowledge. The Human Resource Certification Institute maintains the nationally recognized standards set by individuals working in the profession. Certification exams are offered at two levels:
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) - consists of HR generalist information at the operational/technical level
- Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR ) - addresses HR generalist information at the strategic and policy level.
To be eligible for either the PHR or the SPHR exam, at least 51 percent of your daily activities must be within the human resource function and you must have two-years of Human Resources exempt-level experience as a practitioner, educator, researcher, or consultant. |
